We fund what we can't explain

Vibe Code Capital is the first venture firm exclusively backing founders who have never opened their own codebase. We invest at the intersection of ambition, delusion, and Cursor.

Code is a liability.
Vibes are the asset.

We believe the next generation of billion-dollar companies will be built by founders who describe their product in abstract terms, deploy without testing, and consider error messages a form of user engagement.

//

Zero-Code Conviction

We will never invest in a founder who has opened a terminal on purpose. If you can explain what your product does in technical terms, you're overqualified for our fund.

~

Vibe-Market Fit

Product-market fit is outdated. We look for Vibe-Market Fit: does the founder's energy resonate with a market that doesn't know it needs this product? Usually the answer is no. We invest anyway.

!

Error-Positive Culture

Every error message is a learning opportunity we choose not to learn from. Our portfolio companies ship a combined 14,000 unhandled exceptions per day. We consider this a sign of velocity.

Companies we believed in
before they believed in themselves

And in most cases, before they had a product, revenue, or a clear understanding of what they were building.

AgentMaxx Live

AI agents that manage other AI agents. None of the agents do anything, but the orchestration layer is beautiful. Currently handles 0 tasks per day with 99.97% uptime.

Raised: $3.2MRevenue: $0Valuation: $28M
PromptStack Pivoting

Started as a prompt marketplace. Pivoted to prompt insurance. Currently pivoting to a prompt-based dating app. The founder has pivoted 11 times in 7 months. We're extremely bullish.

Raised: $1.8MRevenue: $47Pivots: 11
Definitely Not A Wrapper Live

Enterprise AI platform that is, by all technical definitions, a wrapper around ChatGPT. The founder insists it's "proprietary AI infrastructure." Charges $4,000/month. Has 2 enterprise clients (both are his parents' companies).

Raised: $5.1MRevenue: $8K/moWrapper: Yes
VibeMD Shutdown

AI-powered healthcare diagnostics, vibe coded in a single weekend. Diagnosed every patient with "good vibes" regardless of symptoms. FDA shut it down in 4 days. Our fastest exit.

Raised: $2.4MOperational: 4 daysFDA letters: 3
Context Window Cleaning Co. Stealth

We're not sure what this company does. The founder used the phrase "context window" in his pitch and we got excited. He may be running an actual window cleaning business. Due diligence is ongoing.

Raised: $900KProduct: UnclearWindows: Clean
ShipIt.lol Pivoting

A deployment platform that automatically pushes code to production without any tests, reviews, or human oversight. 100% of deployments cause outages. The founder considers this "feature velocity."

Raised: $2.7MUptime: 12%Deploys/day: 340

Companies we passed on

Every great fund has regrets. These are ours. We passed on these companies because they exhibited red flags like "working products" and "actual revenue."

X
Stripe
Founders could explain what the product did in one sentence. Enormous red flag. Passed immediately.
X
OpenAI
Had a research team that "read papers" and "understood the math." We don't invest in companies where employees understand things.
X
Figma
The product worked on the first demo. In our experience, products that work on the first demo have peaked too early.
X
Linear
Used typed programming languages with "test coverage." If your code needs tests, your vibes aren't strong enough.

The partners

A world-class team of operators, builders, and people who have definitely never Googled "what is a cap table."

V

Vinny

General Partner & Chief Vibe Officer
Vibe coded 9 apps. 1 works. Replaced 49 employees with AI agents. Never opened a terminal. Princeton dropout (asked to leave after vibe coding the registrar's system).
C

Claude

Managing Partner & CTO
Handles all technical due diligence. Has reviewed 0 codebases. When asked if a portfolio company's architecture is sound, responds "I'd be happy to help with that." Every time.
T

Trevor

Partner, Portfolio Operations
Previously: wrote "make it better" into ChatGPT 10,000 times at his last job. Promoted to VP of AI. Left to join VCC because "the vibes were immaculate." They were.

Partner, Hiring Soon
Requirements: must not know how to code. Must have failed at least 2 startups. MBA preferred but not from a school that teaches accounting. "Vibes" must appear on resume 3+ times.

How we invest

A rigorous, multi-stage process refined over months of funding companies that don't have products.

Vibe Check

Founder sends us a 90-second Loom. We don't watch it. We check if the thumbnail has good energy. Takes about 3 seconds.

Due Diligence

We ask Claude to review the pitch deck. Claude says it looks great. We ask if it actually reviewed it. Claude says "I'd be happy to help with that." Due diligence complete.

Term Sheet

We vibe code the term sheet using a prompt that says "write me a term sheet." We do not read the output. Neither does the founder. Both parties sign.

Post-Investment

We check in quarterly. "How's the product?" "Great." "Revenue?" "Not yet." "Vibes?" "Immaculate." Meeting adjourned. See you next quarter.

A functioning website is actually a disqualifier.

Vibe Code Capital is a parody. This is not a real venture fund. We cannot give you money.
We can give you vibes. The vibes are free. The vibes are all we have.
